Thanks for reading my blog entry, I'm glad that you find my code useful.
Sadly I fried my last PIC some time ago with a careless mistake and now I'm out of them, so writing some sample code without being able to test it is going to be hard.
Anyway, if you tell me what you are struggling with, I'll be glad to give you a hand!

Hello,

I have been very interested in developing some midi applications using PICs. I have mucked about for awhile and have a basic knowledge of C programming and the PIC architecture (and I do mean basic) but am willing to learn.
I came across your blog in my search for information and found that your library seems to be pointing me in a very good direction. My issue is I seem to learn best with a working example. Although I have been trying, I cannot seem to get anything workable using these routines. My question is, if you could be SO kind, could you possible send me a very basic C file that uses these libraries and just sends one command of information? From there I believe I could continue on. I am just having a terrible time getting past that first step.
I understand this request requires a bit of effort on your part, and if you choose not to, I completely understand but thought I would give it a shot.
Thank you so much for any help you might be able to afford.

Best,
Jason Gullickson
